Executive Chef & Owner
Christopher Kisiel’s formative years as a delinquent youth, as well as his restaurant industry upbringing and career working as a professional Chef, have all led up to his opening of Bad Apples Bistro in the town of his alma matter, Spencerport NY in 2011.
Kisiel has since been a pioneer of gastronomy on the west side of greater Rochester, introducing fun and unique food and wine pairings as well as plays on classic dishes with interesting twists. The menu changes quarterly showcasing seasonal fruits, vegetables, game, and fish. Of course some staples never leave the menu, like the signature Beet & Apple salad, Crab Cakes, and Filet mignon. The goal at Bad Apples bistro has been to combine layers of flavor, texture, intrigue, and inspiration to every plate, served in a quaint and casual atmosphere with top notch table service.
